Last October 3, the DAP-CSF kicked off the day with a Technology Matching activity, a pivotal phase in the smart city development journey of Malolos City.
Eight groups of innovative tech developers presented their cutting-edge solutions designed to address Malolos’ specific challenges which surfaced during the Smart City Assessment. The technologies presented include a platform that provides end-to-end solutions for the LGU and real estate property owners thru tax mapping and assessment, an AI-based CCTV monitoring system, an Air Quality Monitor system, a waste management equipment that transforms biodegradable wastes into compost, an air-tight, oxygen-free vessel that turns organic material into biogas, a cost-competitive drone kit adaptable for various applications (e.g., Search and Rescue, DRRM, and Infrastructure Monitoring), and an e-governance system.
These tech solutions were carefully chosen after an extensive search through the DOST's impressive collection of innovative technologies. The solutions were under the critical eye of a stellar panel of evaluators, including Mr. Romeo M. Javate, Mr. Caezar Angelito E. Arceo, Ms. Mylene A. Alano, and Mr. Nicoli Jamero from DOST-TAPI. They were joined by smart city domain experts Edgar Reyes Jr., Anne Clarice Ng, Khristine Hope Porciuncula, and Eliza Guevarra.
These tech solutions will be integral to the smart city roadmap development for the City of Malolos and hold great potential for adoption by the local government unit. This event marks a pivotal moment in Malolos' journey to becoming a smart city. Stay tuned for the next big leap! 🚀
